Job Title: Painter & Decorator
Salary: £12 per hour – full/part time available
Start date: TBC

Trend Decorating Services are providing an opportunity for a keen and enthusiastic painter and decorator to join the team. This position would be well suited for anyone new to the industry fresh from training, or anyone interested in gaining new hands-on skills within the decorating trade.

Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential, however in this instance previous experience would be a must.

You will be part of an experienced team working on domestic and commercial projects, internally and externally. Each job will have its own specifications and requirements which will need to be met every single time to a high standard.

Responsibilities and Duties:

·  Be totally committed to achieving a high level of customer satisfaction through the quality of the end result.

·  Increasing your skills and knowledge of different materials, tools, and techniques throughout duration of employment.

·  Assisting colleagues to ensure timely and quality project outcomes.

·  Ensuring at all times that the project is carried out and maintained with the utmost care, tidiness and housekeeping and ultimate respect for the client’s property and project vision.

·  Be open to on the job learning and at training academies if unqualified. 

·  Must have own transport in order to get to jobs and have own tools.

Skills required:

·  Strong attention to detail.

·  Be able to work alone as well as within a team.

·  Will need to liaise and interact with a wide range of people including teammates, trades people and clients, so good communication skills are an essential as are being honest and reliable.

Able to use your own initiative and be self-motivated
